Very excited about the Sibley squash I just bought from you today. You folks should start mentioning to people that this squash variety is on the Slow Foods Movement’s “Ark of Taste,”a catalog of over 200 delicious foods in danger of extinction”!! Thanks for helping preserve these important heritage varieties!

Just scored lots of good stuff from Ayers Creek Farm: Swiss Chard (gorgeous!), garlic (also gorgeous!), Sweet Potatoes, Tarbais Beans (cassoulet!), Calais Flint Polenta. Plus some Peach Vinegar from Blossom Vinegars and lots of apples from ‘the apple lady.’ What a bounty!

Simon Sampson (Columbia River Fish) is planning on coming to the market on Sunday. The only limiting factor is the weather. A severe storm will limit his ability to fish.
